Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart As A Composer Of The Classical Era

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart once said, Music, even in situations of the greatest horror, should never be painful to the ear but should flatter and charm it, and thereby always remain music. If you have ever heard of his music, you would understand how much truth is in that quote. Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 and he was a composer of the Classical era. He was born in Salzburg and ever since he was a child has always showed his interest in the category of music. He was the son of Leopold and Anna Maria Mozart. His father was a teacher and was also the chapel master in the court orchestra of archbishop of Salzberg. Mozart composed more than 600 works, and many of those were acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, operatic and choral music. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was the youngest of seven children, five of whom died in infancy. Maria Anna was his elder sister and was the other who survived past infancy. His family made several trips while growing up to Europe where he started his career as a child prodigy. These began with an exhibition in 1762 at the court of Prince-elector Maximillian III of Bavaria in Munich, and at the Imperial Court in Vienna and Prague. Shortly after, Mozart wrote his first symphony when he was eight years old, even though some say that his father did most of the work for him.
